By sponsoring a child you are helping to educate the children of Buliisa in our own school, with carefully chosen teachers and support staff. Your sponsorship helps to pay staffing costs and provide the child with the uniform and materials needed for school. Each child receives porridge for morning break, a cooked lunch and basic medical assistance. Along with our social support systems and spiritual discipleship, we aim to deliver a holistic program that nurtures the growth and development of each child.
20% of sponsorship money received is retained in a separate fund in Australia to be used when the child reaches secondary education, and associated school and boarding costs are higher. A small percentage is also used to support wider community education-related needs.
Amari partners with Australia Hope International (AHI), which means sponsorship is tax deductible for Australians. You can fully sponsor a child for AUD$90 a month, or share sponsorship at $30 or $45.
